Creator finally comments

While MikeT had not previously commented on his opinions of the "approved worlds", he finally chose to speak this morning. He said the following:

Moonlight Graham, NABCL, Shtickless and Cooperstown are the only worlds I'd accept with no questions. All are more than 5 seasons old, all consist of original members and none have some 'tarded up 40 win season owner on their team.
Moneyball, CAPB and Minor leagues have been around less than 5 seasons. No longevity in my book.
Mantle has an owner with a 10-152 record one season. I'm not even interested in why.
American Pastime has one owner who is in his 3rd season in a 9 season world and another has 2 sub 50 win seasons on his resume'.
L.E.G. is full of guys who weren't original members and/or have a couple of horrible seasons on their permanent record.
Big Sky is real close but they have one owner who joined in Season 2.
Negro Leagues has one guy who joined in season 4 of a 7 season league and another with the dreaded less than 50 win season.

3 days until voting can officially begin

With bragging rights world voting to start Monday, worlds are already making their cases to remove their blackmarks, while other complain about the voting process period. Shtickless team member and captain gin_caesar quoted, "Anyone who thinks Shtickless 1's reputation needs approval like "CAPB" or "Mantle", or a person who thinks those worlds and anyone in them should have the right to provide a voice in said approval, is unfit to make decisions required to make "Bragging Rights" a success. It's obvious that we should be included in this world if it is to succeed, I'm shocked that our inclusion would be left up to the hoopleheads."(pg 37) Tecwrg spent the morning trying to justify welsh5's 10 win season while earlier in the day rugrat vouched for Moneyball citing that the world would have more Bragging Rights members than any other, giving it added legitimacy in the voting process. Moneyball world member, and captain thaceo may have the biggest blackmark questioning his odd exit and return. He also had 2 seasons with under 50 wins cited on his record. He was available for comment this morning. "A lot of my departure had to do with me being overloaded during a hard time in real life. I that by maxing myself out at 4 teams, and not comishing any(which I believe was taking up more time than GMing), I will not be leaving this site in the near future. One of the under 50 win seasons was my first in which I had no idea what I was doing, and the other was an abandoned team I took over late in the season. I started one of the best worlds on HBD and put together a strong team. I hope my past does not affect people's decisions when voting".

UPDATE:
Erff said the following about his sub 50 win season, "to throw it out there i'd like the other potential owners/voters to know that my less than 50 win season was the first ever abandoned team i took over (i've taken over a few) and it was well past the draft and i almost think close to or past the transaction deadline when i grabbed it. the team was in ruins and i did what i could to win the games i could. that being my first "takeover" i learned i will not take over a team like that that late in the season again unless i plan on making a future commitment to it. just throwing that out there. i know that season looks bad.". Sickchangeup talked about his sub 50s in Big Sky Alumini. From a person who played with him there, that was a very bad team he was rebuilding.

Other worlds with blackmarks have not commented.
